An immigration related fraud scheme has been identified by Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on Dec 17,2019. This scam involved a fake OINP website, which is being used in collecting personal information from candidates. The Government of Ontario recommends to visit official website “www.ontario.ca/oinp” only, for information about the program.

The Provincial program works in partnership with the Government of Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Issuance of Notifications of Interest under Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades stream
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has issued Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades stream On December 11, 2019. Applicants with a Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) between 410 and 479 were issued Notifications of Interest (NOIs). Applications will be accepted and considered under the OINP’s 2020 nomination allocation.
OINP has reached the immigration allocation target for 2019
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has reached a total of 6,650 nominations, which is the allocation target for this year, for successful applicants across all streams. Eligible applications for In Demand Skills Stream will be processed for the distinct nomination allocation granted under the federal government’s NOC initiative for 2019. The Provincial program has also received an increase of 700 nominations to its 2019 allocation. Until the increased allocation is fulfilled, the program will continue to issue nominations.
